I thought I’d hip ya’ll to what I consider to be the best hip-hop city in America, shit, the world, Detroit, Michigan. while Detroit hasn’t had much commercial success outside of Eminem and D12, the city has long been home to some of the best emcees, producers, and DJ’s in the game. this mix is almost all recent material from some of the D’s finest, and is dedicated to the memory of the late James Yancey aka J. Dilla, RIP.
